Destination Tanzania

Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa and boasts a large number of incredible safari destinations, as well as some of the best beaches and islands anywhere in Africa. Known to be one of Africa’s premiere safari and wildlife viewing destinations, Tanzania is home to the greatest wildlife show on earth – the Great Migration – a true wonder of nature as hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and other herd animals migrate across the endless African plains, followed by an ever-present entourage of predators which ensure that visitors lucky enough to experience this spectacle are always in for a good show.

The world famous Serengeti National Park, the geographical marvel that is the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park, make up what is known as the Northern Safari Circuit – the most popular and accessible of the safari circuits in Tanzania.

The Southern Safari Circuit is equally stunning and much less populated with travelers and contains the Selous Game Reserve - Africa's largest game reserve which is bigger than Denmark! Although the northern circuit is the most famous, venturing off the familiar path inevitably rewards visitors with the phenomenal scenery and wildlife experiences.
